Why is this measure important?
Patient satisfaction is important for retaining participants in treatment programs, and also serves as an indicator of the quality of such programs.
Definitions of key terms
Satisfaction: Patients of the service who find that care appropriately meets their needs and expectations. Office of Health Policy and AIDS Funding (abbreviated as OHP): a division of the New Orleans Health Department which provides a comprehensive system of care and access to HIV services which enable persons living with HIV to get into care and remain in care.
