Definitions of key terms

Hearing: A proceeding by an independent administrative officer to determine whether or not a property is blighted. Reset: A hearing judgment requiring the case to be heard again, usually because of a legal or administrative error. Re-inspection: Before each hearing, Code Enforcement must perform an inspection of the property in sufficient time (at least five days prior to the hearing).
