Structure fire call: A call to the fire department regarding a fire that involves a structure (NFIRS code 111 & 111a)PSAP (Public-safety answering point): 9-1-1 call center. CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch): The system that assists dispatchers to take civilian calls for service and dispatch the appropriate response capability. FRMS (Fire Records Management System): NOFD database used to provide fire reports to comply with NFIRS. NFIRS (National Fire Incident Reporting System): Provides a standardized reporting system for the U.S. Fire Service.
